1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Lore, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Lore.

2. Who can use Lore

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Subscriptions and payments

  • Paid plans are billed on a monthly basis.
  • You may cancel at any time from your account settings; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Unless required by law, payments already made are non-refundable.

5. Your content

You keep full ownership of any study material, notes or other content you upload to Lore ("Your Content"). You grant us only the limited licence necessary to store, process and display Your Content so that we can provide the service to you. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Lore for unlawful, harmful or abusive purposes.
  • Attempt to break, reverse-engineer or overload the service.
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Once you delete your account, all your data is removed (see the Privacy Policy).

8. Disclaimer

Lore is provided "as is". We make no guarantees that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Lore is a study aid; final judgement on the accuracy of any answer is yours.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lore is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Amsterdam, unless mandatory consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will let you know in the app or by email before they take effect.
